Zion is a congregation with deep roots in both the Lutheran tradition and the Anoka area. Founded by Swedish settlers, it has been a Christian witness in this area for 135 years. Our purpose continues to be one that remains faithful to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the living out of that faith in our daily lives.

Zion makes an audacious claim: We are a House that Serves the Lord. Our attempts to be faithful to that claim encompass our worship, our music, our education for all ages, our youth programs, our serving, and our giving. We are always inviting others to join us in making that claim ever more real. Zion has much to offer those who belong, those who visit, those who seek to begin or continue their faith journey. It is a good place to ask questions. We also know that Zion is a place where people offer themselves in service to God and the world. A church is not a church that serves only itself.
