SPIRITUAL CARE MINISTRY

A ministry that brings hope, comfort and healing to those who are homebound or in times of difficult challenges. Jesus reminds us that whatsoever we do for those in need, we do it for Him.

Spiritual Care Ministry takes different forms at times of need. It can be a one-time hospital visit. It can be a relationship that spans weeks, months, and years, depending on the circumstances of the person who wishes to have a supportive presence during a time of transition. We provide home and long term care communion ministry, Hospital visitation, Prayer ministry, Bereavement and funeral care, Health and Wellness Ministry.

Anyone who calls Zion Lutheran Church to ask for help will be connected to the Spiritual Care Ministry Coordinator who will connect the requestor with a Pastor or trained Spiritual Care Minister that God has called to this ministry. We consider serving God in our ministry a great privilege and honor our responsibility to provide confidentiality to all people.

If you NEED HELP NOW, please call Zion Lutheran Church office at 763-421-4656 or Spiritual Care Ministry Coordinator at 763-506-8119. On-call Pastors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
