Opportunities to Help in Worship

Worship and Music

Weekly worship is the central, weekly event for passionate disciples of Jesus Christ. Each weekend in worship God is present for you in the Word and Sacraments. Jesus Christ meets you to forgive, renew, love and give perspective. Jesus Christ also meets your family members and all the fellow members of the body of Christ. Worship is both a deeply personal event, and a communal moment. The Holy Spirit calls you to worship this weekend, and every Sabbath.  Holy Communion is celebrated each weekend, at all services at Zion Lutheran Church.  Zion celebrates an open altar, all are welcome to commune.  Jesus Christ is here for you in the Word, water, bread and wine.

You are invited to worship each weekend at one of four opportunities:

Saturday, 5:00 pm - traditional worship
Sunday, 8:00 am - traditional; 9:00 am - traditional; and 11:10 am - informal/blended worship

Sunday education is also a key part of life together:

9:00 am adult learning opportunities

10:00 am learning time for all ages (children, confirmation, youth and adults)
