Nicaragua – What Our Partnership Means to Us
Over the summer, Zion sent a delegation of 6 youth and 2 adults on a trip to the country of Nicaragua. The goal of this trip was to renew our relationship with the Nicaraguan Lutheran Church of Faith and Hope, Iglesia Luterana de Nicaragua, or ILFE. During the trip, we were able to visit many different communities supported by ILFE and how those communities interact and support each other. It was truly an eye-opening experience for all youth on the trip.
Camp Wapo
We had another great week at Camp Wapo in June with 63 Youth campers, 3 High School campers, and 11 Seeds weekend campers attending camp.
Anoka Riverfest
On July 13 our Spin To Win Wheel was back again at Zion’s Riverfest booth with giveaways for all – 300 water bottles, 100 Zion bags, 100 car coasters and 150 foldable Frisbees all bearing the Zion logo.
Fruity Faith Vacation Bible School
“The Fruit of the Spirit’s NOT a coconut” as the children who attended Fruity Faith VBS can attest!
