A Welcoming Faith Community. Growing. Caring. Serving.

High School

T.I.M. Team (Teens In Mission)

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

T.I.M. Team is a High School program from Camp Wapo that stems out of Peer Ministry. T.I.M. Team’s mission is to empower youth and give them the tools and encouragement to be leaders in their daily lives and to grow in faith and community with their fellow peers. This year, a handful of Zion Youth will be returning to Camp Wapo to participate in T.I.M. Team. As a T.I.M. Teamer, you will get the chance to enjoy the camp experience with all your fellow peers, participate in team building opportunities, and learn about new faith topics. Washington, DC Mission Trip

This summer, high school youth will be going to Washington, DC for their annual Mission Trip. While in DC, the youth will have the opportunity to work with the homeless in a variety of different ways. Through this service opportunity, we hope to build relationships with those whom we will be working with, as well as give high school youth the opportunity to grow in faith while building relationships with each other.

Youth Bible Study

For those who are interested in having some fun and learning more about the Good News, the high school youth will meet bi-weekly throughout the summer to discuss different topics throughout the Bible. If you or someone you know might be interested in joining, please contact Josh Myroniuk at jmyroniuk@zionanoka.org for dates and times.

Worship, Bonfire style

Ever gone to camp? Ever missed singing camp songs and hearing faith talks? Then come and join the high school youth for a bonfire worship. Throughout the summer, we will host a camp style worship, and offer youth the opportunity to give faith talks.

If you, or someone you know, are interested in coming to any of these events, please contact Josh Myroniuk at jmyroniuk@zionanoka.org for more details.
