March 14 | 11:30 a.m. | Fellowship Hall
According to piday.org “Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and to eat Pie.”
Whether you are a math enthusiast or not, Zion Seniors are invited on March 14 to celebrate Pi Day at Zion! Come for a light lunch at 11:30 a.m. and stay for fun and games (no math tests, we promise!) and of course a slice of pie! Please pick up your free ticket for this event at the front desk so that we can plan accordingly for the food.
