ACBC Food In-Gathering and Quilt Donation

Thank you to all who contributed food and money towards our Thanksgiving Eve food ingathering! We collectively brought in a total of 3577 pounds of food and $1350 in monetary donations for the ACBC (Anoka County Brotherhood Council) food shelf.

The month of November gave the Zion Pre-K kids the opportunity to serve others by participating in the Thanksgiving ACBC food drive. The kids added feathers to the turkey on the wall to reflect each food item that was donated.

At the Thanksgiving Eve Service 105 quilts were blessed prior to being distributed to ACBC, Bundles of Love, Lutheran Social Services, Anoka-Metro Regional Treatment Facility (AMRTC) and St. Cloud VA.

Following the Thanksgiving Eve worship service pumpkin pie and fellowship was enjoyed by all!

Thank you to all who helped make the quilts and sort and deliver the food to ACBC. It is greatly appreciated! ■
