On March 30, a group of faithful volunteers gathered to continue the tradition, started by member Wilma Carling years earlier, of folding palm frond crosses for Palm Sunday weekend. Over five hundred crosses were handed out to worship attendees.

Holy Week continued with Maundy Thursday serivces at 12 noon and 6:30 p.m. Good Friday services were at 12 noon and 6:30 p.m. There was also a Good Friday Family service in the Chapel.

Immediately following the Good Friday service, the Sanctuary was decorated with a mix of Easter lilies, kalanchoes, begonias and mums (whites, oranges and yellows) in preparation for Easter worship.

Easter worship was held on Saturday evening, April 8 at 5 p.m. and on Sunday morning, April 9 at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Special music included trombones, trumpets, timpani, the Zion Adult Choir, the Ringmasters Bell Choir and two vocal soloists. Each service concluded with Mary Jo Gothmann performing Toccata by Widor.
