Pentecost is Sunday, May 24—a joyful and powerful day in the life of the church! On this day, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit poured out upon the disciples, empowering them to share the good news of Jesus with the world. That same Spirit is alive and at work in our lives today—guiding, comforting, and inspiring us in faith. One of the traditions of Pentecost is to wear red, symbolizing the flames of the Spirit that rested on the disciples. So be sure to join in the celebration by wearing red to worship the weekend of May 23 & 24! Come and celebrate the Spirit’s presence among us—then and now.
