All Saints Sunday is November 1 and it is when we acknowledge those we love and cherish who have been called into the arms of our Savior’s mercy for the blessed rest of eternal peace. During worship we will honor Zion members who have passed away this year as well as provide an opportunity for you to remember the saints in your own lives.
In the evening, we will host our Luminaries for Loved Ones event in the Christian Life Center (our gym) from 5-6:30 p.m. You will be able to walk along a path lined with luminaries, and prayer helpers will be available if you’d like assistance.
You are invited to pick up a white paper bag from church, decorate it any way you would like, or just write the name of your loved one on the bag. It’s always good to write the name using darker colors so it can be read in the dimly lit room. We will collect the completed bags through noon on November 1, at which time we will fill each bag with a tea light and prepare the path in our CLC.
