Early Childhood Ministry
Zion Early Childhood Ministry is for children ages 0-5 and their families. We want kids to know that God loves them and Jesus is their friend! God put the wiggle in children, and it is good! You are welcome here, just as you are. Join us for family-style Sunday School or a ukulele and dance class! Check back often; our offerings for young families are always changing.

Holy Shenanigans Sunday School
Family-style Sunday School is geared towards kids ages 0-5 with an adult at 10 am on Sundays during the school year. We gather in the Chapel to hear an interactive story, learn fun songs, give thanks to God, and share our joy! After we gather, families move to our preschool classrooms to play with toys or make a craft. Community makes all the difference, so parents and caregivers attend with their children.

Faith Milestones
At Zion, we partner with parents to help them meet their children’s spiritual needs by celebrating four faith milestones each year: Holy Baptism, Gift of Word, Holy Communion and Affirmation of Baptism.
Holy Baptism
Commanded by Jesus, Holy Baptism is one of two sacraments in the Lutheran Church. Through Baptism, we receive the gift of faith and the promise of God’s Holy Spirit.

Gift of Word
Young children receive Bibles at baptism and in family Sunday School. Full Bibles are presented to all 2nd graders and new 3rd-5th graders.
Toddler Tuesday
Zion PreK + Early Childhood Ministry are pleased to partner with Toddler Tuesday! Connect with other toddler families while kids get to play and meet new friends!

Toy Library
Stop by Classroom 10 during Sunday School Sundays, 9:30-11:30 a.m. A punch card allows you to borrow toys and bring them back for others to enjoy. You can also donate your unused toys to the library!
Mother’s Room
A private and dedicated room for nursing moms is on the 2nd floor.
Sanctuary Praygrounds
Noises and wiggles are welcome in worship! The sanctuary has three Prayground areas with small tables, stools, and quiet activities.

Trick or Treat
Zion’s indoor Trick or Treat event will be held on Wednesday, Oct 28 from 5:30-7 p.m. Sign up to decorate a table at the Welcome Desk or donate candy now.
Late Night
All Middle & High School students are invited to Lutheran Late Night at Zion, Friday, Oct 16, 7-10 p.m. Snacks provided, night games will be played.
Youth Fundraiser
Zion youth are serving cinnamon rolls in the Cornerstone Oct 18 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. to raise money for their upcoming summer mission trip.
Bible Class
A Bible Class will be offered Oct 25 at 10 a.m. in the Theater. Bibles will presented to all 2nd graders & new 3rd-5th graders Nov 8 at the 9 a.m. service.
First Communion
The K-Grade 5 First Communion class will take place on November 15 at 11 a.m. in the Theater. Click on Registration Events Tab to register now!
CYF Registration
Registration for the CYF 2026-27 program year is now open! This includes all early childhood, Sunday School, Confirmation & youth group.
