Recovery Cafe Anoka County
Recovery Cafe Anoka County is a recovery support community for those struggling with homelessness, addiction, and other mental health challenges and is an Emerging Member of the Recovery Café Network (RCN). The Recovery Café Network uses a social licensing model in its replication efforts and has over 77 Member sites nationwide, including Recovery Cafe Anoka County.
The cafe (located at Zion) is open Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. It offers membership to those who agree to (1) be drug and alcohol-free 24 hours before coming on-site, (2) attend a weekly peer support Recovery Circle, and (3) empower every member to contribute to the community. The space at Zion will be utilized for the following free programs:
- Weekly Peer Support Circles.
- Hot meals and coffee; free lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- School of Recovery (Life Skills Courses, Health & Wellness Courses, etc.)
- Sports Activities/Leagues.
- Resource Library (housing, job, health, culturally specific materials, etc.)
- Community Outreach

Zion Super Sale
The 2026 Zion Super Sale is just around the corner! Sale dates are June 11 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and June 12 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Volunteers are needed!
Family Promise
Our next hosting week is Sept 19. Read about the Family Promise Campus including the Family Service Center & the completion of the 8-unit guest house.
Greeters
We are in need of Greeters prior to each of our services, Saturdays at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 8, 9 and 11 a.m. Share your smile with others!
Dishwashers
The Cornerstone Café is looking for two-person teams to help with dish cleanup on Sundays after fellowship time. Training provided.
Prayer Ministry
Once every 8 weeks, team members gather prayer cards before the 11 a.m. worship service & pray for requests on the cards.
Communion
Sign up in the notebook located in the Sacristy for the weekend & worship service time that works best for your schedule. All are welcome!
