Family Promise in Anoka County
Zion participates in four Family Promise hosting weeks a year. Listed below are the weeks for 2026. Contact Pat Stearns for information on how you can help both financially and by providing meals.

The Family Promise Campus will help better serve families and children in Anoka County through a continuum of services for families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. The Family Service Center (formerly called the Day Center) located at 363 Coon Rapids Boulevard in Coon Rapids is now open! Family Promise’s new 8-unit guest house located at 340 95th Avenue NW is close to completion. In July families will begin moving into the house and we will be moving back to a hands-on approach in working with families. During each of our weeks during the year we will be asked to provide three meals and entertain the children on two nights.
