Family Promise in Anoka County

We are excited to share that announcements for a new Family Promise Day Center staffing site will be made in early 2023 and then fundraising will begin for the static guest house, where families will remain in one place while other services and community support come to them. This is a significant change from the previous model but gives the families a better feeling of stability and less stress having to move from church to church. Overnight volunteers will no longer be necessary, but congregations will still provide meals and activities so opportunities to volunteer will return.

Our upcoming hosting weeks in 2023 will be: March 12-19, May 21-28, September 17-24 and December 10-17.

Once you have registered as a volunteer you will have the opportunity to take a couple training modules on the website to prepare again for volunteer activity. More information will be provided through the Realm portal and Zion’s Herald. For information about how to register as a Family Promise Volunteer, contact Dulcie Campana through our email contact form.
