Zion Lutheran is partnering with United Methodist Church of Anoka for their annual United for the Community Back to School event. The event is August 13 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. At the event there will be free popcorn, hot dogs, chips, juice boxes, bottled water and ice cream. There will also be a bike and backpack giveaway along with live music. Please drop off your items at Zion by August 2. Below are the items Zion is asked to collect.
- Crayola colored pencils (12 count)
- Crayola watercolor paint sets (8 count)
- Glue sticks
- #2 pencils
- 2 pocket folders in red, blue, yellow, green
- Spiral or composition notebooks (wide & college rule) in the same colors
- Pens (blue or black)
Monetary and gift card donatins are also accepted and can be dropped off at the front desk.
