The Fruit of the Spirit’s NOT a Coconut
“The Fruit of the Spirit’s NOT a coconut” as the children who attended Fruity Faith VBS can attest! Through songs, games, art, science, Bible stories and snacks, campers learned about the Holy Spirit and the fruit it produces: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control! (Galatians 5:22-23). Ninety-five children and 30 volunteers took part in the four-morning event June 24-27. The campers especially enjoyed worshiping at the Fruity Faith Fruit Stand, with Farmer/Pastor Mike and his side-kick banana dude Barnabas the Banana! Many fruity thanks to everyone who made this a great week! ■
