All Saints Day is the day when we celebrate all the saints that have passed on to life eternal. On November 1, during our morning worship services and evening luminary drive-thru, we celebrated those saints who are no longer with us. The luminary drive-thru took place in Zion’s lower parking lot. Luminary paper bags (decorated by loved ones) were lit in honor of the saints in their lives and placed throughout the parking lot. Participants of the drive-thru listened to music on their car radios, prayed and remembered these saints who have touched their lives. The luminary drive-thru was a shared event with the Anoka Ministerium.
