Zion’s Core Values for Serving guide who we are and how God is calling us to respond. The core value for shelter means we serve those who are homeless and working for permanent shelter. Zion is passionately committed to the plight of the homeless through a variety of community outreach programs.
Habitat for Humanity
Every summer, a team of volunteers led by Anders Lindberg sets off for a site in the Twin Cities to build a house for a family in need. If you want to volunteer for this great ministry, please contact Anders Lindberg.
Family Promise
The Family Promise Guest House is open. Zion’s commitment weeks during the year will now involve preparing three meals and entertaining the guests one night during each of our weeks. If you would like more information on how you can help, contact Pat Stearns.
HOPE 4 YOUTH
Zion provides financial support for Hope 4 Youth, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Anoka, Minnesota that meets the basic needs of young people (ages 23 and under) experiencing homelessness in the north metro suburbs. Website: Hope 4 Youth

Family Promise

Greeters
We are in need of Greeters prior to each of our services, Saturdays at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 8, 9 and 11 a.m. Share your smile with others!
Dishwashers
The Cornerstone Café is looking for two-person teams to help with dish cleanup on Sundays after fellowship time. Training provided.
Prayer Ministry
Once every 8 weeks, team members gather prayer cards before the 11 a.m. worship service & pray for requests on the cards.
Communion
Sign up in the notebook located in the Sacristy for the weekend & worship service time that works best for your schedule. All are welcome!
Every Meal
Every Meal helps kids access meal programs by focusing on food gaps when they aren’t at school. Click through to see how you can volunteer to help.
